How it works

aib Premium Funding finance agreements are specifically designed and set up to finance your annual insurance premiums arranged with aibGroup Insurance Ltd.

The premium funding loan is usually set up for a 12 month period and is line with the insurance policy dates. We can provide either monthly or quarterly repayment options. Instalment amounts are calculated and paid on an equal or flat instalment basis throughout the term of the loan.

What happens if you default

Your aib Premium Funding loan is secured over the policy interest described in your loan agreement. If you fail to meet your commitments under your loan, we may be able to take enforcement action in accordance with your loan agreement (which may include cancelling the policy).

Neither default interest nor default fees are charged under your aib Premium Funding loan.
